The Memory Game Jam

This is a book about all the Games that participated in the Memory Game Jam.

There are 2 versions of this book

1. There is the book with all the Game Submissions and their Sources
2. There is the Book with all the Game Submissions without their sources.

The Book with the sources is shared only with the participants of this Game Jam, while the book without the sources is the public one. 

This is the public version of the Memory Game Jam.

The Game Jam was about coding a MEMORY GAME.

 This could be achieved using the following programming languages

• BASIC
• C
• ASM
• Or a mix of the above.

 Game submissions are always through the RPI email or through the Phaze101 Discord Group.

 Posting the game on Itch.IO is allowed but the game cannot be downloaded till the stream happens.

 Important: The number of participants on ITCH.IO never reflects the true number of participants.

 Although the concept of the memory game is simple we have had 18 different implementations with different variations of the same game.

 These were done for 6 different Machines, in BASIC or ASM and there were also variants of these which one can notice in this same book.

 Running a Game Jam is not easy and some of the pitfalls of running a game jam are

• Participants do not read the Game Jam fully
• Some do not bother to ask the question and they assume
• Other they try to find loop holes in the Game Jam
• Some can have malicious intentions and submit malicious code
• Others try to deceive and copy others code
• Many miss the submissions requirements

 Please note that we do this for fun and after all is YOUR WIN achieving and completing such a challenge. It help us a lot if you go that extra mile and complete what is being asked in the submissions.
